Alice Hossent
Senior Associate
Alice’s career started out in media, where she worked at the BBC in Education and Children's Marketing on a range of campaigns, including the development and launch of CBBC and CBeebies. Having been inspired by her work in the education and children's department, Alice made the decision to retrain to become a primary school teacher and trained with a focus on Early Years. She subsequently enjoyed working for four years in schools in the West Country teaching across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
Having felt passionate about building skills and cross-curricular learning opportunities both in and outside of the classroom, Alice joined English Heritage as the Education Marketing Manager where she was responsible for developing and promoting educational experiences for primary and secondary schools at historical sites across the West of England. Alice went on to join the Skills Builder Partnership in 2018, to expand our reach across the South West and now enjoys supporting schools to build their student's essential skills both in the classroom and out on employer trips.
