Senior Associate for School Leadership
Chantelle became dedicated to working within education whilst volunteering as a learning mentor in East London. This inspired her to train as a teacher before teaching in a primary school in North London. She has since gone on to become a co-opted governor of a Special Needs school in East London to support the improvement of teaching and learning.
Chantelle joined the Skills Builder Partnership after teaching the programme and seeing the significant impact it had on students’ confidence, their interactions and their academic learning. She has supported schools across the South of England to deliver a programme which strives to embed transferable skills into the curriculum and prepare children and young people with the life skills necessary for success. She now works with school leaders to research and produce guidance on how to effectively embed essential skills into school curriculums and ethos.
