Our employer partners periodically host visits to their workplaces by groups of students, who get a chance to meet employees and ask questions. Volunteers and students then get to work on a challenge that gives a flavour of what the organisation does.
Blueprint: Film Foundation offer a range of film and multimedia courses where young people can experience a real-working environment. They have partnered with Skills Builder with a shared focus to develop skills that are useful tools in the employment market, such as Creativity, Presenting and Leadership. All of these are skills are carefully nurtured through an exciting filmmaking process and all participants have the opportunity to gain Arts Award accreditation.
