Our employer partners periodically host visits to their workplaces by groups of students, who get a chance to meet employees and ask questions. Volunteers and students then get to work on a challenge that gives a flavour of what the organisation does.
Hello Future is a partnership of local universities, colleges and employers who are committed to improving access to higher education young people in Cumbria. They offer guidance and practical support to help young people with future decision making and choices.
The Hello Future team can offer a range of free workshops and events to schools and colleges, as well as in the community, that explore the different routes into higher education. They cover information on university and higher/degree apprenticeships (locally and further afield) to help guide and inform young people throughout the process. They also explore the key skills and experience needed for these different routes.
