Carlton Primary School
Carlton Primary School is in their 4th year working with Enabling Enterprise. Throughout the term, students have been busy developing their Enterprise Skills by taking part in their Lesson Time Projects. Year 4 are preparing their new, healthy range of bars to share with parents and members of the community. Meanwhile, Year 1 are busy thinking about their gallery opening for The Great Exhibition.
Operation Moonbase
Over the course of the day, students used their Teamwork skills to establish a new society on a distant moon called Utopia. A series of challenges required teams to use their Essential Skills, particularly practising their Creativity, Problem Solving and Listening skill sets. Teams needed to select a crew to support them on their mission, then work together to design a new species of animal to benefit society before finally creating a model of their own dream city. The day culminated in a series of persuasive pitches at the Intergalactic Trade Fair, which gave each team the opportunity to show off their fantastic ideas.

A good leader isn’t bossy and looks after the team. When you’re in a team you need to all share your ideas and make sure everyone says yes to an idea before doing it.
Student, Year 2
When we have ideas we listen to each other, and if someone doesn't have a job to do we invite them in.
