The Future Food Challenge introduces users to the global issue of food security and how our current food system negatively impacts on people and planet.

Working with start-up social enterprise Farm Urban, students explore ways of finding solutions to this real-world problem using the cutting-edge technologies applied in aquaponics (the cooperation between plants and fish).

Year 9 participants have the opportunity to develop their essential skills, equipping them for whatever they pursue in future, including employability in green and digital sectors, within the context of setting up their own start-up business.
