We are thrilled to officially welcome our newest cohort of non-profit organisations and impact leaders to the Global Impact Fellowship as they embark on their journey with the Skills Builder Global this September.

Every year, the Fellowship brings together dedicated leaders from around the world who are committed to transforming outcomes for their beneficiaries by putting essential skills at the heart of their work.

A Global Community

This cohort spans 15 countries across five continents.

Together, all the organisations in this cohort reach and support over 3 million beneficiaries through their collective programmes. Whether working with young people in formal education, supporting adults into employment, or empowering local communities through social enterprise, these organisations share a common goal: ensuring every individual has the essential skills they need to succeed.

Highlights from week one: connecting and goal-setting

Our first training session this week set an inspiring tone for the months ahead. It was energising to watch the cohort begin building relationships right from day one:

• Building a collaborative support network: Watching fellows connect with one another over LinkedIn during the session was a highlight. These connections mark the start of a strong peer support network that will span their time on the program and beyond.
• Finding common ground in shared challenges: Despite operating in vastly different contexts, from rural community initiatives to urban education networks, fellows quickly realised how many shared challenges they face. Hearing participants speak openly about their experiences highlighted the power of peer learning in the Fellowship space.
• Setting ambitious milestones: Fellows wasted no time looking ahead, actively setting goals for the next few months, including determining which Impact Level Accreditation they aim to achieve for their respective programmes as they refine their approach to essential skills development.

Reflecting on the launch of the new cohort, Bethan, who leads the programme, shared:

Looking Ahead

Over the coming year, fellows will engage in interactive workshops, receive tailored 1:1 strategy support, and gain access to Skills Builder tools and resources to help integrate the Universal Framework seamlessly into their existing delivery.

By taking a structured approach to essential skills, these organisations will be better equipped to demonstrate their impact, elevate programme quality, and support their beneficiaries in developing essential skills like Problem Solving, Teamwork, Speaking, and Leadership.
