Climate Schools Programme

Climate Schools Programme, powered by EUK Education, provides free curriculum-linked resources spanning science, geography and English. Helping to give teachers, educators and career leads everything they need to deliver engaging, impactful lessons. The programme is designed for students aged 11 to 14 in secondary schools across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

In science, students examine the science behind the green energy revolution. Geography lessons explore government targets for reaching net zero and how they could be achieved. In English, they explore the language of climate change and learn how to identify misinformation.

Across all 3 subjects, careers information connects classroom learning with the STEM careers students could pursue in the future.

Introductory lessons familiarise students with the Skills Builder essential skills icons and their definitions. The icons then appear throughout later sessions, showing when students develop a particular skill through an activity and when featured career role models apply the same skill in their work.
