French Konnect is an emerging education initiative empowering children in underserved communities through language, mentorship, and wellbeing. Using its Learn | Connect | Belong model, it teaches French through play, storytelling, and cultural exchange to build confidence, emotional resilience, and global awareness.
Designed for learners aged 10–16, the program creates safe, trauma-sensitive spaces where children develop leadership skills and a sense of belonging. By reimagining language as a tool for empowerment, French Konnect equips young people to thrive locally and globally.
The programme achieves Impact Level 4 through three integrated mechanisms. First, learners complete a pre-programme self-assessment against Framework steps and repeat this after each milestone assessment to track progress. Second, every unit is designed with specific step targets: facilitators introduce skill steps explicitly, provide step-specific praise, and close sessions with step-matched reflections. Third, facilitators use a Tricycle-phase-aligned Observation Rubric to track observable behaviours linked to Framework steps, feeding data into a termly Skills Tracker that quantifies individual and cohort-level step progression.
