Project GISE Hub empowers girls in underserved Ogun Waterside communities by combining vocational training (tailoring, catering, ICT, leatherwork) with financial literacy, mentorship, and safe-space support. Over a six-month cycle, participants join weekly workshops, hands-on boot camps, and community exhibitions where they produce and sell real products. Graduates return as facilitators and peer mentors, ensuring sustainability and deepening impact. Parental forums, school partnerships, and a permanent Innovation Hub reinforce learning and foster long-term economic independence.
GISE Hub prominently labels “Communication” and “Leadership & Teamwork” on all materials and starts each session by reviewing these definitions. After every activity—whether sewing or coding—girls complete guided reflections asking how they used each skill and rate themselves on a simple 1–5 scale. Pre‑ and post‑cycle self‑assessments quantify growth, while facilitator logs and peer‑mentor feedback capture real‑time evidence of skill application.
