This programme equips secondary school students in underserved communities with digital and essential skills for the future of work. Learners are engaged through practical sessions, group projects, and mentorship, where they build communication, teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills alongside basic digital literacy. Sessions are facilitated through school partnerships using simple, hands-on activities that connect learning to real-life challenges. Continuous reflection, guided prompts, and facilitator support help learners practise and improve their skills, building confidence and preparing them for education, employment, and entrepreneurship opportunities.
The programme supports essential skills development by providing structured opportunities for learners to practice key skills during every session. For example, essential skills such as communication, teamwork, leadership, and problem solving are clearly named and included on all learning materials and activities. Learners engage in group projects where they apply these skills in real tasks, and facilitators use simple reflection prompts and worksheets to help them recognise how they used each skill and how they can improve.
