The programme equips participants with essential skills to recognise and respond to scams through an interactive digital safety workshop. Using the Skills Builder Framework, participants develop four key skill steps: Identifying Influence, Questioning, Logical Reasoning, and Identifying Risk. Learning is reinforced through real-life scam scenarios, group discussions, practical exercises, and a guided scam simulation that encourages participants to apply the skills in realistic situations. The programme concludes with self-reflection, personal action planning, and follow-up activities to support the transfer of learning into everyday life. It aims to build confident, informed individuals who can make safer decisions and help protect others from scams.

Essential skills are explicitly embedded throughout the programme using the Skills Builder Universal Framework and are consistently referenced during every activity. Participants are introduced to the four skill steps, practise them through real-life scam scenarios and a guided scam simulation, and reflect on their progress using a self-assessment questionnaire. They also identify one personal action to apply after the workshop and are encouraged to share their experiences during a follow-up reflection session, reinforcing the transfer of essential skills into everyday decision-making.
