Youth Hub

The Youth Hub is a dedicated youth led space in South Tyneside for young people with SEND. The organisation has a central aim of empowering our young people and developing their life, social and work skills through accessible sessions and projects. Young people love to get creative and The Youth Hub's newly renovated building gives the young people a safe and accessible space to progress, develop and find their place in the wider world.

The essential skills icon posters are displayed in the main workshop alongside the accessible versions. Descriptions and step outcomes are detailed in session plans and referred to throughout the provision. Youth Leaders reflect on the dynamics and ability level of the groups using Skills Builder Hub to identify the most impact skills to focus on for each group. They use the Skills Builder Hub to measure skill level of a particular group and update progress at regular intervals.
