The rural mountain public schools in Nepal are yet to gain good infrastructure, adequate resources, qualified teachers and an accountable school management system. Because of this students of public schools are far behind. So Stay At School Nepal (SSN) support students by providing them with financial, mentoring and skills support as they climb the stairs of their dreams of higher education.

Mentoring support involves quarterly workshops covering a variety of important life skills which will help the students to establish themselves as a whole being. Stay At School Nepal use Skills Builder resources to resdesign and upskill their fellows. The fellowship starts when a fellow is in grade 11 and Stay At School Nepal support them till their Masters degree, so each fellowship is an eight-year journey.

Stay At School Nepal want to equip them with all essential skills that they need. They use Skills Builder Benchmark and help fellows assess where they independently. This is then used in a mentoring conversation to reflect. Stay At School Nepal also conduct workshops with the use of Skills Builder Workbook and Passport.

Fellows continue to reflect with examples of their daily life, so that they can continue to be aware of the skills and at the same time practise them in their daily life.
