STRATEGIC PARTNER
Our strategic partners financially support us to expand our work - either through developing new programmes or extending into new areas. We couldn’t grow without them and thank them for all their support.
TRIP-HOSTING EMPLOYER
Our employer partners periodically host visits to their workplaces by groups of students, who get a chance to meet employees and ask questions. Volunteers and students then get to work on a challenge that gives a flavour of what the organisation does.

PARTNER ORGANISATION
Heathrow is the UK’s busiest international airport, with some 84 airlines flying direct to over 200 destinations worldwide. Over the next five years, Heathrow’s recruitment will be focused on focus skills in construction, engineering, logistics, IT and digital, and data analysis. Heathrow Employment & Skills Academy, which supports people in Heathrow’s local community to find employment with employers and suppliers based at the airport, will be an important part of this process. In joining the Skills Builder Partnership, Heathrow hope to use the Skills Framework to support their new World of Work programme, which aims to build core skills in local young people and inspire them about the diverse range of careers at the airport. These essential skills are relevant across so much of the work and development at the airport, and raising awareness of their importance at a young age will be an exciting step for the Heathrow team and community.
