Our employer partners periodically host visits to their workplaces by groups of students, who get a chance to meet employees and ask questions. Volunteers and students then get to work on a challenge that gives a flavour of what the organisation does.
TMA teaches essential business and management skills, along with practical on the job training. This is delivered via talks, workshops, e-learning, coaching and mentoring as well as local work experience. Through joining the Skills Builder Partnership, TMA hope to integrate the framework into their programmes and to use the self-assessment tool with young people to support their ongoing skill development.
