Smart School Councils

Smart School Councils provide schools with an empowering digital platform which involves every child in democracy.

Used by 400+ schools and 180,000 students across the world, the Smart School Council programme transforms pupil voice in schools to make democracy more inclusive, active and fun.

It supports speaking and listening skills through regular, student-led and democratic class meetings across the whole school. Young people of all ages are involved in all stages of the process, from running the school council in the Communication Team, holding Class Meetings and joining Action Teams to create a club, campaign or activity to create change.
