BASE is a national membership charity that promotes the commissioning and delivery of specialist employment support. Our aim is to improve the employment rates of disabled people by ensuring appropriate policy, funding and professional services are in place across the country. Supported Employment is internationally recognised as an evidence-based approach to supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs into sustainable employment. It is a work-based approach that ensures that the right person is in the right job with the right support.
