Our employer partners periodically host visits to their workplaces by groups of students, who get a chance to meet employees and ask questions. Volunteers and students then get to work on a challenge that gives a flavour of what the organisation does.
Founders4Schools provide a simple platform tool to connect students with local business leaders. Educators can search and filter results for their local area, subject or industry, to arrange encounters including guest speakers, workplace visits and support for careers fairs. Their mission is aligned with Skills Builder as the ultimate goal is to prepare students for the world of work. Our partnership should support teachers to see how these encounters can be enhanced through teaching the essential skills.
