Our employer partners periodically host visits to their workplaces by groups of students, who get a chance to meet employees and ask questions. Volunteers and students then get to work on a challenge that gives a flavour of what the organisation does.
SATRO is a long-established educational charity working across the South East, inspiring and engaging young people in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM), both in terms of subject choices and the career paths they lead onto.
Over the last 30 years, SATRO has had an impact on over 450,000 young people, helping them understand how to put STEM skills into practice. Achieved through a diverse and challenging range of programmes and activities, SATRO brings together schools, employers and their staff and volunteers, on a one to one basis, at classroom or school level, in regional challenges and at large-scale events. Their programmes Empower, Educate and Enthuse young people.
