The Harlequins Foundation delivers a two-year Foundation Degree programme run in partnership with the University of South Wales.

Through this course students can gain a FdSc Sports Coaching and Development degree, with the option to carry on their studies for another year to gain a BSc Sports Coaching and Development Degree.

In addition to their academic work, students will also be expected to complete 400 voluntary hours of coaching in the community to apply the skills they have learnt in the classroom and better develop their knowledge of coaching.

By the end of the programme, students will develop the necessary skills, qualities and characteristics that are required to work within sport development roles at a local, regional or national level – as well as grassroots or elite coaching roles.
