Drive Forward Foundation enable care-experienced young people to achieve their full potential through sustainable and fulfilling employment. By helping young adults leaving foster or residential care, the Foundation's vision is to create a society where care-experienced people enjoy opportunity, empathy and respect.

Drive Forward's Mentoring Programme provides care leavers with inspiration and advice from industry professionals to maximise their career opportunities.  Once young people have a new job, work placement or internship, they are offered the opportunity of having a professional mentor. Drive Forward pair mentees with mentor professionals based on industry and personality, ensuring their relationship is worthwhile for both.

Drive Forward's mentors will work with mentees to explore focus essential skills and support them to reflect on their own skills as they move into employment, prepare for work and enter the workplace.  Using the Universal Framework, mentors will facilitate reflective discussions and encourage mentees to identify their own strengths and areas for development.
