The programme supports schools within Al-Mabarrat's network in developing essential skills in students of all ages and across all subjects. It provides staff with training and resources to embed the Skills Builder Framework into their daily teaching. Association-wide expectations guide the development of these skills, and core teams create curriculum content to aid teachers. Standardised assessments are then administered across all schools to measure progress in essential skills.

The programme supports essential skills development by closely following up with schools to ensure the curriculum is applied. Diagnostic tests are prepared for all eight essential skills, with data analysis used to design targeted interventions. Central supervision teams oversee skill instruction, assessment, and curriculum adjustments. Educational supervisors also receive training to support schools, and coordinate with all departments in the Directorate of Education to embed and track the eight essential skills across all schools.
