New partner: Grofar

We are very excited to announce that Grofar has joined the Skills Builder Partnership!

Grofar

Careers Leaders across the country use Grofar to plan, track and report on the variety of activities and experiences students take part in.

As we see increased momentum around development of the essential skills, it is important to ensure that young people reflect on their learning and experiences and track the progress that they are making. Grofar’s outstanding platform has embedded the Skills Builder Framework to allow precisely this.

As young people engage in a variety of activities and experiences, they can consistently track and map the skills they have used and developed, and identify any gaps in their understanding of these skills. Teachers tracking this progress can therefore offer more effective and targeted support, ensuring everyone builds the essential skills to succeed.

All activities in Grofar can be directly linked to the clearly defined skills within the Skills Builder Framework. By working together, Grofar will be able to help schools and colleges embed the Framework into their careers programmes and build these essential skills with students.

The Skills Builder Partnership

The Skills Builder Partnership works to ensure that one day, everyone builds the essential skills to succeed. The Partnership brings together educators, employers and other skills-building organisations around a common language and approach to building eight essential skills, and the Skills Builder Framework and Principles underpin the work.

The Partnership includes over 500 primary, secondary and special schools, as well as colleges, 130 employers and more than 40 skills-building organisations.
